Current Policy

New Jersey
A 1428: Prohibits the sale of certain cleaning products containing triclosan.
New York
S 1864: Relates to banning certain chemicals from being manufactured, used, or stored within the state including triclosan, 1,4-dioxane, isophorone, cyclohexanone, or any synonym of such products.
New York
S 5122: Prohibits the sale of cleaning products containing triclosan, triclocarban or derivatives of such antibacterial compounds.
New York
S 9379: Prohibits the sale, manufacture, distribution, and use of feminine hygiene products containing a restricted substance including, but not limited to, lead, mercury, formaldehyde, triclosan, toluene, talc, per- and polyfluoro-alkyl substances, phthalates, and parabens.
Washington
SB 5480: Prohibits the manufacture, sale, and distribution of any cosmetic product containing perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances and other chemical classes.

Adopted Policy

Minnesota
SF 2192: Bans added lead and mercury from wheel weights, bans triclosan from hand sanitizers and soaps, modifies an existing formaldehyde ban. (Adopted in 2014)
